For years, our YMCA has had a dream of providing a high quality, affordable, accessible childcare center for our community. Today, that dream is becoming a reality. The Greater Kingsport Family YMCA Childcare center is more than a building, it's a future changer for our children! It will open doors for working parents, nurture our youngest learners and strengthen the foundation of our entire community.

This is our moment to invest in what matters most - our children, our families, and the future we build together in the region.

The Childcare Center will welcome children and families 6 weeks to Pre-K.

DESIGNED WITH PURPOSE

Designed with purpose and built for the future, the new addition to the YMCA reflects a thoughtful vision centered on children, families, and community impact. The childcare center will feature its own dedicated entrance, creating a safe, welcoming, and secure space specifically tailored for young learners and busy families. Students will also benefit from a brand-new gymnasium designed to encourage healthy activity, teamwork, and growth through play and recreation. In addition, the YMCA’s feeding kitchen will be relocated and expanded, allowing the organization to serve more children and families with greater efficiency and care. Every element of this project has been intentionally planned to strengthen the YMCA’s mission and create a space where children can learn, families can thrive, and the community can continue building brighter beginnings together.
