CREATING A SAFE SPACE FOR YOUR CHILDREN
Healthy child development starts early. Our staff will welcome your child in a warm, safe and caring environment. With a wide range of activities to stimulate your child's creativity, self-esteem and independence, our Child Watch will help your children learn essential social, physical and intellectual building blocks. Child Watch is provided for our special members age 6 weeks through 5 years of age. This is a privilege of our family memberships for when parents are exercising (parents must remain in the YMCA). Please encourage your kids to make new friends and enjoy themselves in this fun environment.

ADVENTURE KIDS
Active games, crafts, STEM, reading activities, and free play, Adventure Kids is all to make our youth stronger in spirit, mind and body. Plus, we do our best to build relationships and engage them in fun that will make a positive impact in their lives. At the Y, children and teens learn values and positive behaviors, and can explore their unique talents and interests, helping them realize their potential. That makes for confident kids today and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow. We believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for life. Because of the Y, more young people in neighborhoods around the nation are taking a greater interest in learning and making smarter life choices. The Y is helping kids awaken their brains and their body for a healthier life. The activities vary based on the number of kids and their ages. Our counselors do their best to adapt to the needs of the kids participating. Adventure Kids takes place in our Family Adventure Center, complete with a 24ft indoor playground structure, an adaptive climbing wall, a stage and plenty of room for free play. Gymnasium time for group games is also on the schedule, but sometimes the gym is traded for outdoor green space when the weather permits. Adventure Kids is for ages 5 (and in Kindergarten) through 12 and is available for anyone with a Family or Single Parent Family Membership.

Adventure Kids will be open on weekday mornings during some holidays and KCS/SCS planned school breaks alongside Child Watch.
