Kingsport Family YMCA's 3rd Annual Back To School Bash
Supporting Local Youth and Families
The Kingsport Family YMCA is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated 3rd Annual Back To School Bash, taking place on Friday, July 28, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Kingsport Family YMCA, conveniently located at 1840 Meadowview Parkway.
As a cherished community event, the Back To School Bash aims to support kids and families enrolled in our Y on Wheels programs by providing them with essential school supplies for the upcoming academic year. Last year, the YMCA made a significant impact by distributing over $7,500 worth of school supplies to the families who attended, ensuring that local children have the tools they need for a successful school year.
The Back To School Bash is much more than just a school supply distribution event. In addition to the backpacks filled with essential items, the Kingsport Family YMCA has planned an array of exciting activities and services for attendees to enjoy. Families will have the opportunity to savor delicious meals, kids will receive fresh haircuts, and everyone can participate in engaging crafts and games, fostering a sense of togetherness and community spirit.
Moreover, this year's event will feature an exciting addition—a distribution of Google Chromebooks to families, empowering them with the resources necessary to excel in the digital age. The Kingsport Family YMCA is committed to equipping local youth with the tools they need to thrive academically and beyond.
The Back To School Bash will also serve as a hub for essential community resources and services. Various Y on Wheels community partners and organizations will be present to provide valuable information and support, giving attendees access to a wide range of services that can enhance their lives.
This significant community event would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. The event is funded under a Grant Contract with the State of Tennessee, and we are immensely grateful for the contributions from Cherry Point Animal Hospital, Ballad Health Foundation, and Eastman Credit Union, whose unwavering support has made this event even more impactful.

This event is for verified Y on Wheels Program Families only. Community members who attend, and are not verified Y on Wheels program participants will not be able to participate.
