The Kingsport Family YMCA and the Kingsport Axmen are thrilled to announce their upcoming joint event, "YMCA Night at the Ballpark," which will take place on Friday, July 28, at 7:00 pm at Hunter Wright Stadium as the Kingsport Axmen take on the Bluefield Ridge Runners. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with a strong emphasis on community engagement and philanthropy.
In a remarkable collaboration, the Kingsport Axmen have partnered with the Kingsport Family YMCA for a unique initiative. Throughout the year, the players and staff of the Kingsport Axmen have volunteered in the YMCA Feeding Kitchen, dedicating their time to prepare and pack snacks and meals for the children in the YMCA Summer Camp programs. Additionally, they have played games and even taught tee-ball to the little ones in the Mini Explorers program, creating unforgettable moments for the young participants.
