American Girl…Star Wars…CSI…Field Trips…Harry Potter…Top Chef…Boys Rock…Superheroes…Ninja Warrior…. Specialty Camps are here to ignite the imaginations of your camper. The YMCA’s themed Specialty Camps are terrific opportunities for campers to explore their creativity and pursue their passions through science, art, sports, games, and more! It’s a perfect way to add variety to your camper’s summer experience as they learn and grow. Having a blast while learning, with a focused theme - that’s YMCA Specialty Camps! Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided daily.
*Spaces are limited to 42 for each camp week of Specialty Camp. In order for camp week to run, we must have 15 campers registered.
**Specialty campers may be dropped off as early as 7am and stay as late as 5:45pm daily.
***Specialty Camps do not go on a weekly field trip or go swimming, with the exception of Epic Adventure

This is the perfect camp for campers who just love to play sports. From March Madness, to the Super Bowl, to the World Cup, to the World Series – we’ve got all your favorite sports covered! We’ll even go old school and play some of those childhood favorites! You are sure to be a fan of this camp!

Welcome to the Wizarding World of J.K. Rowling’s epic book series. Young wizards will be immersed in the realm of Hogwarts. You’ll be sorted into houses, compete against other teams for the House Cup, be enrolled in classes like Potions and Herbology and join your house’s Quidditch team. You better sign up fast if you want your “Muggle” to get accepted at Hogwarts, because spaces are limited and it fills fast!

Do you love a good mystery? How about a good trial? Do you want to help solve crimes? Discover how science is needed to uncover the trail of evidence criminals leave behind. Using many different aspects of forensics, you will learn how to analyze a crime scene and gather evidence. Campers will solve a “real” crime and conduct an actual trial!

Ready to be a Jedi? For a week you can train in the ways of the Force. You will have light saber training, learn to draw Star Wars characters, play Jedi games and work together to solve a mission. Sure to be a favorite, sign up fast as the Force is strong with this one.

Calling all American Girl® Doll fans! If you love adventure, helping others, and learning how to be a true friend, then this camp is for you! Campers will spend five days exploring different periods of history with their best doll friend by their side. Both dolls and participants will enjoy period crafts, cooking, games, and a secret adventure. Bring your doll and join us for a week you will never forget!
