Day Camp 2010- Backpacking Across the U.S.

Day Camp is a fun, energetic program that will lead rising 1st-5th graders to campfires, bug spray, sleeping bags, and tents! Campers will put on their boots and grab their backpacks as they head off on some of the most famous trails in the U.S. Each week campers will experience nature through clubs such as hiking, science, and sports, as well as other games, exercise, activities, and crafts centered around the backpacking theme. Your kids will form friendships while they have a fantastic camp experience! Campers go on a weekly field trip and swim three days a week. One snack and sack lunch are offered each day. *Spaces will be limited. 

Locations:                   Jackson, Johnson, and Rock Springs (rising 1st-5th grade)

Session Dates:             May 24-July 23* (8 weekly sessions) (Closed May 31 and July 5) *Dates depend on site

Hours:                         7:00am - 6:00pm (group activities from 9:00am - 4:00pm)

Registration Fee:          $30 per camper (non-refundable)

Weekly Session Fee:    $105 YMCA members/$120 non-members (includes swimming/lunch/snack/field trips)

Teen Camp 2010

Throw caution to the wind this summer at Xtreme Teen Camp! This experience reserved for teens who are entering 6th-9th grade. You never know what you'll get into whether it's a dance off, messy games, or exploration outings. Teens will get to do sports, crafts, team building activities, community service projects, and much more. They'll make new friends, challenge themselves, and have a blast while gaining leadership skills and building self esteem. They'll go on a weekly field trip and swim three days a week. Teens also will have the opportunity to plan some of their own activities. One snack and a sack lunch will be offered each day. Gear up for what will have your teen talking for decades to come! *Spaces will be limited.

Hours:                            7:00am - 6:00pm (group activities from 9:00am - 4:00pm)

Summer Fling 2010- "Hike-O-Rama"

Summer Fling is a camp experience that specializes in enjoying the beautiful outdoors.  Fling is held at Warrior's Path State Park.  One snack is offered each day.  Campers need to bring their lunch, drink, and a water bottle.  *Fling space is limited . 

**Must be registered for two other weeks of camp in order to register for this one.

Location:                       Warriors Path State Park (rising 1st - 5th grades)

Session Dates:                July 20-23 (*Kingsport City locations only/Note: only 4 days) $88 YMCA members/$100 non-members

                                      July 26-28 (Note: only 3 days) $66 YMCA members/$75 non-members

Hours:                            7:00am - 6:00am (group activities 9:00am - 4:00pm)

Note:  There is a $7 discount per week for an additional child per family.
