Membership

Becoming a member of the Y doesn't mean you have a membership to a gym, it means that you get to be a part of a great cause. Becoming a member means you get to share a commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility in our community. We'll be right there alongside you, making sure that you, your family, and community have the support and means to LEARN, GROW, and THRIVE.

We strive to connect you to others, making you feel welcome and encouraged to make positive life changes.

A Y membership includes basketball or volleyball, a spot in group exercise classes such as Zumba, HIIT, Yoga, or Cycling. Worried about needing to find a babysitter? Don't be. Our trained staff is prepared to care for your little ones in Child Watch or your bigger kids in our supervised Adventure Kids program with fun youth activities.

Once you officially become a part of the Y family, bring a friend to get them involved as well!

Financial assistance is offered for all of our programs for qualifying families and individuals.

On the road a lot? When you go on vacation, your Y can go with you. Take advantage of the AWAY program (Always Welcome At YMCAs), which allows you to use most of the 2000 YMCAs across the country for free when you show your YMCA membership card. As an additional benefit, you may use any YMCA in Tennessee as your own Y. See below for more details.

My Y is Every Y in Tennessee

Another Great Reason to Join the Y!

Reciprocity-state-of-TN.jpg

The Y movement is for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
We want to encourage members to utilize the Y as often as they can. Sometimes, it’s more convenient for members to utilize a Y in a different location when traveling, near a workplace or in another region.
Now, full facility/full privilege YMCA members have the flexibility to use other Y facilities throughout the state, at no extra charge.
