GROUP EXERCISE - May 2012
Healthy living includes leading an active lifestyle. We do our best to provide you with tools to make this easier including group classes, free Wellness Workshops, and FitLinxx, a computerized strength training partner that assists our members age 13 & up in their progress. FitLinxx "learns" your program, "coaches" you individually through your workout for better form, safety, and confidence during every exercise, and "tracks" your progress over time. On strength equipment, FitLinxx appears as an easy-to-read touch-screen display that's attached to the machine. Users simply tap in their PIN to display their targets - FitLinxx then coaches them on speed, form, etc., and tracks the workout session - every rep, set, and step.

In addition to the friendly members and staff, it's also important to have effective and safe equipment on your healthy living journey.
Included in the Cardiovascular Training Area are:
- Precor Adaptive Motion Trainers, Total Body Elliptical Trainers, Elliptical Trainers, Semi-Recumbent Bicycles, Treadmills, and Upright Bicycles
- Cybex Total Body Arc Trainers
- Indoor Walking / Jogging Track
- Nu-Step
- Sci-Fit
All of the resistance weight machines are Cybex Eagle and are extremely easy to use, especially after your initial orientation.
If you'd like to challenge yourself in the Free Weight Room, take advantage of the following:
- Assisted Dip/Pull-up Machine
- Back Extension Machine
- Body Bars
- Cable Crossover
- Dumbbells (2 lb - 120 lb)
- Fitness Accessories (benches, bars, mats, jump rope, or versa-tubing)
- Lat Pulldown Machine
- Seated Calf Raise Machine
- Seated Row Machine
- Squat Racks
You can use medicine balls, stability balls, or engage in your own cool down in our abs/stretching area.
