IT'S A NEW DAY!

The YMCA Wellmont Center and Kingsport Aquatic Center are becoming reality!

 

 

As you know, we are working diligently to raise enough money to include 4 “alternates” in our building project. Our Board of Directors has given the go-ahead to include the first two at this point. Also, our contractor will work with us to add the others, however, the longer we wait, the more they will cost (more changes and re-work will cost more). But the important thing to note is that we have the opportunity to still add the other spaces—Gym Expansion and Walking Track.

• So, to those of you who have given, we want to say a great big THANK YOU!!
• If you’ve been waiting to see if we’re serious, or if this is really happening,
  WE’RE SERIOUS AND IT’S HAPPENING--DON’T BE LEFT OUT!
• If you intended to make a gift, but haven’t yet, do it now. (Envelopes are available at the Y, or call us at 247-9622 and we’ll send you one)
• If you haven’t been by the site, go look at it.
• “Like” us on Facebook to keep up with the progress.
• If you know someone who would like their name on the Gymnasium, the opportunity is still there.
• If you have a rich uncle in NJ, now’s the time to talk to him!
