I believe that the YMCA of Greater Kingsport makes this area a better place to be. The staff and volunteers are committed to serving the YMCA members, and by doing so, create an environment of warmth and fun that is hard to duplicate anywhere else in the tricities.  Loving, responsible adults who model the qualities we hold most dear serve the children in the summer programs and afterschool programs.  Hillary Clinton was right when she said “it takes a village” and the Y, our Y, is the very heart of that village for these children and their families.

Walk into the Y and see change happening all around you as seniors build strong bodies and relationships and moms and dads go from couch potatoes to marathon runners (really!).

 

We are working hard to build a better Y. We are not just working on the physical building, but defining what we will be in that building. We are the change agent that can make Kingsport a better place for the next generation. Let’s do it!!
